Singer-actor Mark Bautista is ecstatic over Sarah Geronimo's remark that she might eventually end up with him. "Parang nakikita ko (kasi) na persistent siya. Nakikita ko ang respeto niya sa family ko at sa akin," Sarah said of Mark on “The Buzz” Sept. 20.
Mark admitted, though, that he has something to worry about if rumors linking Sarah to John Lloyd Cruz were true. “Hindi ko alam kung nanliligaw siya…(pero) alam kong mabuti siyang tao,” said he on the same show the following day.

Although it’s no secret that the former First Lady Imelda Marcos is a staunch supporter of homegrown artists, it was still a surprise to hear rumors that her son, Ilocos Norte Rep. Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. is also doing the same -- but only for one artist.
Text messages circulating of late have it that a car, reportedly registered to the 52-year-old congressman, is seen parked regularly in front of Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo’s house.
Not a few are insinuating that the very-much-married [to the former Louise Araneta] Marcos is courting Geronimo.
In an interview, the 21-year-old singer rejected the accusation. "Where did they get that? That is just too much,” she said. “This is embarrassing…for the Marcos family and my family, too.”
Whistles were handed out to guests who entered the NBC Tent last night, September 10, during the 2009 Cosmo Bachelor Bash. In line with its theme "Cosmo Cell Block 69," spectators were supposed to help capture the "bad boys" by blowing on their whistles when they see them coming. Special guests were given water guns so they could spray their favorite hunks.
Among the 69 Bachelors who walked the ramp were Mark Bautista, Carlo Guevarra of Be Bench fame, Eri Neeman, as well as Pinoy Fear Factor participantes Manuel Chua and Jose Sarasola.
Mark exuded a lot of sex appeal when he walked the ramp. He even surprised people when he lowered his pants slightly, much to the delight of the crowd.
Did you know that Mark Bautista is a fried-chicken lover? “That’s why I always drop by Mang Inasal and order take-out,” said Mark who has just signed up with the outlet as its first endorser. Mang Inasal opened its first outlet in Iloilo in Dec. 2003. Since then, it has opened dozens of branches nationwide. “We’ll have more than 200 outlets by the end of 2009,” said Edgar Sia II, president and CEO of Mang Inasal Philippines.
